Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard
The Australian Superyacht Rendezvous will proudly take place at Australia’s most acclaimed marina and the largest superyacht refit and repair facility in the southern hemisphere – Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (GCCM). Since its inauguration in January 2000, Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard, affectionately known as GCCM, has garnered a global reputation for its superyacht capabilities. GCCM plays a pivotal role in the flourishing 250-hectare Gold Coast Marine Precinct, attracting yachts from around the world for all aspects of marine refit, maintenance, and construction. Superyachts visiting GCCM enjoy direct access to over 90 on-site businesses, employing more than 700 top-quality marine contractors. GCCM boasts world-class superyacht facilities, including a superyacht work basin with full on-water work capabilities, refit sheds, fully enclosed superyacht sheds, hardstand, covered stand, and haul-out facilities catering for vessels up to 300 tonnes with a 10-metre beam. GCCM was the first shipyard in the Asia-Pacific region to receive 5 Gold Anchor Global Marina Accreditation. Situated 20 kilometres from Surfers Paradise and 60 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD, GCCM offers convenient access for superyacht owners and crews.
“ This is a flagship industry event that champions the Australian superyacht industry and gives it a voice. It provides Masters with a forum to share their knowledge and experience of those issues impacting the superyacht industry, assesses the trajectory of development, provides an opportunity to network and includes government and political participation. The wealth of knowledge and information distilled from such a high-level gathering is then used to develop marketing strategies to grow the industry. For those wishing to be part of the future, attendance is a must. ”
